Recognizing shifting consumer behaviors toward digital convenience, the management envisioned a cutting-edge platform that not only enabled a 24/7 shopping experience but enhanced operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This move was a strategic leap into the future while preserving the values that had earned them their loyal clientele.

Deep market research within the Dominican Republic retail sector highlighted customer priorities—reliability, transparency, and simplicity in online transactions. Workflow observations emphasized the need to reproduce Viomal's famed in-store experience in a virtual environment while addressing operational inefficiencies.
We developed a strategy centered on user-centric design, ensuring the platform served a wide audience, from tech novices to frequent online shoppers. The goal was to increase accessibility and engagement while modernizing internal systems to match Viomal's growth ambitions.

Advanced logistics during checkout allowed users to choose shipment options based on their location, seamlessly informed by the system’s real-time data.
A secure payment system with Popular Azul enabled authorization and charges for debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers. Customers were assured of smooth, secure transactions complemented by instant confirmations.
By integrating reviews, the platform offered immediate credibility and transparency. Existing customer testimonials provided the social proof needed to encourage trust in new potential buyers.
Boosting product discoverability, this integration listed Viomal’s offerings for customers browsing directly through Google, helping expand reach to untapped audiences.

Financing System
One of the standout features of the platform was the fully automated financing system. Designed to simplify the customer purchasing process, this system allowed users to finance their purchases quickly and easily without visiting the store.
Customers could select a product, review financing options (6, 9, or 12 months), and see detailed payment schedules, including amounts, due dates, and required initial deposits. Once satisfied, they could submit an online application directly through the website.
The system evaluated their application, providing instant approval or rejection. Upon approval, the initial deposit and monthly installments were automatically charged through integrations with Popular Azul credit/debit cards or bank transfers. Fully automated email notifications kept customers informed at each step of the process, ensuring transparency and clarity.​
Store Management Tools
A fusion of ERP integration and a robust backend empowered Viomal's management with advanced tools to oversee daily operations.
Admins no longer need to manually update inventory or order statuses. Instead, they had detailed insights into warehouse operations, order tracking, and customer trends. Integration with multiple warehouses allowed smart order routing, ensuring the right products were shipped from the most efficient location.
The system’s search capabilities streamlined the ability to retrieve orders, while intuitive analytic dashboards informed data-driven decisions to improve business performance.
